1. Overview
This Shipping Policy outlines how DAVEDMX AUTOS (davedmxautos.com) processes, ships, and delivers orders. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below. This policy is consistent with the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) and Consumer Protection Act, 2022 (Act 1061) of Ghana.
2. Order Processing
- Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation
- Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Ghanaian public holidays
- You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed, and a shipping notification with tracking details once dispatched
- Orders placed after 3:00 PM GMT may be processed the next business day

4. International Shipping
We ship to select international destinations. International orders may be subject to:
- Customs duties and import taxes levied by the destination country — these are the buyer's responsibility
- Longer delivery timelines of 7–21 business days depending on destination
- Additional carrier handling fees
DAVEDMX AUTOS is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.
5. Shipping Carriers & Tracking
We partner with reputable carriers including:
- Ghana Post / EMS
- DHL
- Courier-to-door services (e.g., Yango Delivery, Glovo, Kofabra, or local dispatch riders for Accra)
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Use it to monitor your delivery status on the carrier's website.
6. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries
- Our carriers will attempt delivery up to 2 times
- If delivery fails (e.g., no one available, incorrect address), the package may be held at a pickup point or returned to us
- Re-delivery fees may apply for returned packages
- Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are accurate at checkout — we are not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect information provided by the customer
7. Bulky & Oversized Items
Some products (e.g., car covers, large audio systems) may be classified as oversized and subject to:
- Higher shipping rates quoted at checkout
- Delivery by specialized freight or courier only
- Longer processing times of up to 5 business days
8. Risk of Loss & Title
Risk of loss and title for all products pass to you upon handover to the carrier. Once dispatched, DAVEDMX AUTOS is not liable for delays, theft, or damage caused by the carrier. However, we will assist in filing claims with the carrier where applicable.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments
- If your order arrives damaged, take photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- If your order is lost in transit, contact us after the estimated delivery window has passed — we will investigate with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable
- Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be submitted within 7 days of the expected delivery date
10. Order Modifications & Address Changes
- Address changes must be requested before the order is dispatched
- Once an order has shipped, we cannot guarantee address modifications
- Contact us immediately at sales@davedmxautos.com if you need to make changes
11. Public Holidays & Delays
Shipping timelines may be extended during:
- Ghanaian public holidays (e.g., Independence Day, Eid, Christmas)
- Peak seasons (e.g., Black Friday, end-of-year)
- Unforeseen circumstances (weather, carrier disruptions)
