1. Overview

At DAVEDMX AUTOS (davedmxautos.com), we are committed to your satisfaction. This policy is crafted in accordance with theΒ Consumer Protection Act, 2022 (Act 1061) and the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) of Ghana. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


2. Eligibility for Returns

You may return a product within 14 days of the delivery date if:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The item is significantly different from its description or images on our website
  • The wrong item was delivered to you

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition
  • In the original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and tags intact
  • Accompanied by your order confirmation or receipt

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned once sold:

  • Car audio, stereos, DVD players, and electrical components that have been installed or powered on
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or accidents
  • Products with tampered or removed serial numbers
  • Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)
  • Custom or special-order items

4. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, contact us within the 14-day window:

Include the following in your message:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the defect or discrepancy

We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Do not ship items back without prior authorization β€” unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


5. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product), we will cover return shipping costs.
  • If the return is for any other reason, the customer bears the cost of return shipping.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method. DAVEDMX AUTOS is not responsible for items lost in transit during return.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
  • For mobile money payments (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, etc.), refunds will be sent to the number used at checkout
  • For bank transfers, refunds will be processed to the originating account

If rejected:

  • We will notify you with a reason
  • The item will be returned to you at your expense

7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or wrong items only. If you'd like a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.


8. Damaged Items on Delivery

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  • Take photos immediately before opening the package
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you

9. Warranty Claims

Some products carry a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and coverage are stated on the product listing. To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us with your order details and a description of the fault
  2. We will liaise with the manufacturer or supplier on your behalf
  3. Resolution timelines depend on the manufacturer's process

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2022 (Act 1061). If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may also contact the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) of Ghana.
